AM Best’s head of analytics to moderate panel at risk summit

The head of analytics in the London office of AM Best is to moderate a panel during the Bermuda Risk Summit next month.

In the session, titled “Risk and Regulation in an Evolving Global Landscape”, Mahesh Mistry will explore the evolving regulatory landscape.

The panel includes Beth Dwyer, vice-president, National Association of Insurance Commissioners; Andy Mais, insurance commissioner for Connecticut and the NAIC’s immediate past president; Tim O’Hanrahan, head of insurance supervision, international and advisory, for the Central Bank of Ireland; and Craig Swan, chief executive of the Bermuda Monetary Authority.

AM Best said the discussion will focus on how to balance risk management with innovation, navigate emerging challenges, and foster cross-border collaboration to build a stable and resilient global market.

At AM Best, Mr Mistry is responsible for managing a team of analysts who cover ratings on insurers and reinsurers that operate worldwide, with a particular focus on the British and London markets, Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe and Bermuda.

The summit, presented by the Bermuda Business Development Agency, will be held at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club from March 10 to 12.

Mr Mistry’s panel will take place on the afternoon of March 10.
