Trio charged with conspiring to import drugs
Three men allegedly conspired to import drugs into Bermuda more than two years ago.
Irving Raynor and Anthony Richardson, both 52, and 41-year-old Dion Cholmondeley were charged with conspiring to import cannabis and cocaine when they appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Mr Richardson, from Pembroke, was also charged with cultivating cannabis.
He and Mr Raynor, from Warwick, were further accused of having the substance with intent to supply, as well as digital scales intended for use of a drug.
All offences allegedly occurred between November 2 and 4, 2022.
None of the men were required to enter pleas as the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.
Magistrate Craig Attridge adjourned the case to the April arraignment session, released each of the men on $25,000 bail and ordered that they surrender their travel documents.
