Road paving will affect traffic in St George’s this weekend, the Ministry of Public Works and Environment said.
A spokesman said the St George’s roundabout approaching the Swing Bridge will be reduced to one lane of traffic on Saturday and Sunday.
Work will take place between 8am and 6pm, with ministry representatives managing traffic.
Lieutenant-Colonel David Burch, the former Minister of Public Works, confirmed last month that $5 million had been requested to replace the Swing Bridge, which connects St George’s with St David’s.
The northbound lane of the bridge is closed for repairs until March 31.
Questions about this weekend’s lane closure can be directed to principal highways engineer Tina Beer-Searle on 501-3044.
