Assorted drugs charges for Smith’s woman
A woman has been charged with drug-related offences.
Chelsea Smith, 47, did not enter a plea in Magistrates’ Court yesterday because the matter must be heard in the Supreme Court.
She also waived her right to have the charges read aloud.
It is understood that she faces two counts of handling a controlled drug with intent to supply and three counts of drug possession in an increased penalty zone, namely near Penhurst Park and Little Loquats Playgroup in Smith’s.
Ms Smith further faces two counts of possession of drug equipment and a charge of possession of money that was the result of criminal activity.
All charges were alleged to have happened on August 5, 2022, in Smith’s.
Magistrate Craig Attridge released Ms Smith, from Smith’s, on $50,000 bail and adjourned her case until the next Supreme Court arraignments session on May 1.
