The RG/BSX Index rose 97.92 points (3.99 per cent) to 2,552.84 today, based on the $1.75 (4.9 per cent) rise of Butterfield Bank to $37.75 after the trading of 580 shares.
There was no other activity on the index today.
Butterfield rose 59 cents (1.56 per cent) on the New York Stock Exchange to close at $38.51.
