Wins for youth cricket teams in UK

Bermuda Cricket Board’s National Academy Under 13 and Under 15 teams picked up their first wins of their tour of England yesterday, beating Richmond Cricket Club in their two matches.The Under 13s played a T20 match and dismissed their hosts for 77 and reached their target from 13 overs and with eight wickets in hand. The Under 15s also notched up their first victory when they beat Richmond by five wickets in a 40-over match after making a successful chase of their target of 165 for victory.Today the teams will play Walmley Cricket Club in 40-over and 50-over matches respectively.The Under 15s lost their first match on tour on Monday when Kimberley Institute handed them a seven wicket defeat. Sent in, Bermuda posted 173 all out in 40 overs. Captain Alex Dore and Davin Dill get the team a good start with an opening stand of 56 in 10.5 overs with Dore scoring 21 before Dill carried his bat through the innings for 67 not out off 110 balls with eight fours.Dill also shared in useful partnerships of 35 for the third wicket with Antoine Seaman (18) and 45 for the fifth wicket with Christian Gibbons-Wade which took the score to 151 for the home team fought back to restrict Bermuda to 173, a target they later reached in 27.3 overs. Captain Anju Dal scored 55 not out for Kimberley to lead the run chase after Chare Smith removed the openers to finish with two for 37 from seven overs.
