The booking period for Department of Sport and Recreation facilities has officially opened.

A spokesman for the department said a wide variety of venues were available.

These include White’s Island, Port’s Island, Darrell’s Island, Paget Island, Bernard Park, community fields and the Michael Preece Softball Diamond.

Owen Darrell, the tourism minister, said: “These facilities are for everyone — families, schools, sports clubs and community groups.

“We’re excited to see Bermudians making full use of these spaces to connect, stay active and enjoy all that our public recreation areas have to offer.”
