Governor invites public to his residence for King’s Birthday

Royal celebration: Andrew Murdoch, the Governor (File photograph)

The Governor has invited the public to celebrate the birthday of King Charles III in June at his temporary residence.

Andrew Murdoch encouraged those interested to apply for an invitation for the King’s Birthday Reception.

He said: “Over the last several years, the response to the public has been tremendous and those who have attended have thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

“Once again, we are more limited in numbers than in previous years due to being in a temporary residence.

“Nevertheless, we look forward to welcoming as many members of the public as we can to this year’s King’s Birthday Reception.”

The reception will be held at the Governor’s home at Los Zorros in Paget on June 19 between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

Those who wish to attend must apply through an online form, which will be available from tomorrow at noon until April 30 at noon.

Hard copies can be obtained from Government House by calling 292-3600 or by e-mailing governmenthouse@gov.bm.
