Warning from police after kite intrudes on air traffic

Police appealed to the public this afternoon for help in locating the owner of a kite which was being flown in the no-fly zone surrounding LF Wade International Airport.

The Bermuda Police Service said the kite had been put up in St David’s in the vicinity of Clearwater Beach.

A spokesman said the kite posed a threat to air traffic.

It was located as of 6.30pm.
