Conyers announces promotions

Conyers has announced a series of promotions in its Bermuda office for 2025.

William Cooper and Davina Hargun have been promoted to directors. Mr Cooper, who joined Conyers as a pupil in 2014 and qualified as an associate in 2015, focuses on Bermuda corporate law, particularly in insurance, investment fund and investment business law and regulation.

Ms Hargun, who joined the firm in 2015, specialises in private client and trust law, advising on international and local trusts, private trust company structures and estate planning. ​

Anne Campbell, Britt Smith and Sarah Lusher have been elevated to counsel.

Ms Campbell, who joined Conyers in 2022, advises on lifetime and succession planning, wills, trusts and estate administration.

Ms Smith has experience in contentious trust matters, restructuring and insolvency and complex commercial litigation.

Ms Lusher's practice includes corporate and commercial law, with a focus on corporate finance, M&A and insurance law and regulation. ​

Promoted to senior associate are Satjivan Aujla, Sophia Collis, Kathleen McBeath and Lauren Pereira.

Ms Collis's practice covers corporate and commercial law, including capital markets and finance transactions.

Mr Aujla, who joined Conyers in 2021, specialises in trust structures and private wealth disputes. Ms McBeath advises on mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and insurance law and regulation. Ms Pereira, presently on secondment in the London office, focuses on corporate law with an emphasis on insurance law and regulation. ​
