Great effort by Botanical Gardens staff
Dear Sir,
I encourage all to pay a visit to the Botanical Gardens. For the past three months I have visited the gardens four times a week and have watched the staff work tirelessly, turning the gardens into a very pretty place to see.
Yes, over the years it has been an embarrassment to describe it as our Botanical Gardens as it had fallen into disrepair – buildings collapsing and gardens overgrown.
Now, however, with hard work of all the staff and with a lot of pride, it is looking much much better and is a place our visitors should be encouraged to walk about.
Well done and congratulations to all the workers. Your hard work is noted and appreciated. Hopefully, you will have a budget to continue the maintenance.
We are lucky to have such a large garden and park area with accompanying historic buildings and lovely tea house and rose garden seating.
