In New York, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 35 cents, or 1.28 per cent, at $27.02.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index remained at 1,917.92 points, while the BSX Insurance Index was down 15.4 points, or 0.9 per cent, at 1,700.7.
