"There are a lot of Bermudians living in the New England area,'' he noted.

"We are just trying to get hold of them. We hope their relatives will pass on this message because we want them to contact us.'' The event is set for on or around September 11 and a location is being determined.

Mr. Roach noted that a similar event was held each year in Canada and had proved popular.

MAN'S BODY DISCOVERED OBT Man's body discovered Police discovered the body of a 59-year-old man at his Marsh Lane home on Thursday afternoon.

The officers were called in after the dead man's landlady became concerned about him.

A Police spokeswoman said: "They were able to gain entry to the man's home and discovered his body in bed.

"There was no evidence of a struggle and Police are not treating the death as suspicious.'' An autopsy on the dead man is expected to be carried out shortly.

Officers found the plants near Grey's Rock in Sandys Parish after a tip-off from a member of the public around 8.30 a.m.

The plants, taken for forensic analysis, were at varying stages of growth -- from seedlings to ten inches tall.

David's on Friday night and had anchored while awaiting assistance.

The Honey Do radioed in around 9.30 p.m. to report its stalled engine. Harbour Radio reported it was contacting other nearby vessels to assist.

It capped an eventful day for the water rescue coordinators as they assisted a fishing vessel, the Thunderbird , which lost power near Challenger Banks early on Friday afternoon.

The boat's crew was later able to restart the engine and returned safely.

HOMES PLAN APPROVED PLN Homes plan approved Developers have won planning permission to build a small housing estate in Southampton.

The Hamptons Ltd., backing the project, want to build seven homes and an estate road with parking off St. Anne's Road.

Their initial plans were approved by the Development Applications Board last week.
