Shares of Butterfield Bank fell $1.16, or 3.96 per cent, on the New York Stock Exchange, to close at $28.14.
There were no trades on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which was unchanged at 2,164.5. The BSX insurance Index was down 26.7 points, or 1.61 per cent, at 1,633.88.
