Rams’ rookies head to Boston tourney
North Village are taking a group of young footballers to Massachusetts later this week to take part in a coaching camp and play in a tournament.The Mass Premier Soccer event in Boston runs from July 8 to 17.Highlights of the tour will include: A four-day camp during which the Village coaching staff and players will receive instruction from qualified administrators and coaching staff; a two-day college showcase and summer slam tournament; and a visit to Middlesex Secondary School where they will tour facilities and meet staff members.The Village party includes three coaches, two parent representatives and 27 players.Stephen Coddington will head the delegation, assisted by coaches Sergio Goater and Tim McKittrick.The players are Remy Coddington, Rory McKittrick, Darius Woolridge, Jazario Brimmer, Quiluan Simmons, Darin-Scott Woolridge, Jorj Dublin, Benjamin Estravit, Samuel McKittrick, Tyejae’ Burchall, Davin Dill, Matteo Turner, Jai-Zel Smith-DeShields, Jahmai Small, Logan Ball, Quinn Outerbridge, Jr, Jaydon Goddard, Justin Bell, Ryan Brown, Zachary Friesen, Kion Knights, Tory Bassett, Rory Dublin, Kyler Knights, Dimitri Frias, Kneiko Richardson, Solomon Ming.In 2010, Village travelled to Manchester United and a year later competed in the Disney Tournament in Florida.
