Stabbing victim in stable condition
A 32-year-old man stabbed at Ambiance Lounge remains in a stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit, police said today.
The man and 40-year-old club owner Carlton Simmons were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after both sustained stabbing injuries in the incident in the Ewing Street club at 4.15am on Saturday.
Mr Simmons, who was treated and released from hospital, was later arrested in connection with the incident.
Saturday’s fight was Bermuda’s fourth serious stabbing incident within about two weeks, including the fatal stabbing on Jahkoby Smith at the West End Sail Boat Club on July 29.
