'WindReach helps me love others'

Me and my pony: India Smith enjoys her weekly visits to WindReach Recreational Village in Warwick. Her recent riding experience was particularly exciting.

On February 25 I went horseback riding at WindReach, and it was fun! I know all the horses' names at WindReach. One is named Bean, one is named Windy. Another is named Dusty and the last is named Gary.

When I go to WindReach, I feel so excited because I get to see the secret room which is so pretty. It has butterflies on the walls, and when the lights are off, Chinese music comes on with glow-in-the-dark strips and water tanks lighting up. There are balls and fishes in the room which float in the water. There is a ball room with bouncy balls and a ball pool. This makes me feel like I am at a carnival!

I go to WindReach with Uncle Joe (DeSilva) and Miss Dawn Burgess every Thursday. Four other children go with me.

WindReach helps me with my behaviour. The Chinese music calms me down and helps me to focus and learn. WindReach helps me to love others because it is relaxing and has things we can do together. It has helped me to return to school and do my work. I can listen to my teacher better because I am calm when I get back. I love WindReach!
