Members of Bermuda’s uniformed services were recognised at an annual awards event.

Representatives with the Bermuda Police Service, the Royal Bermuda Regiment and the Department of Corrections were honoured with long service awards at the Honours and Awards Ceremony.

Recipients of the Queen’s Certificate and Badges of Honour were also recognised and presented with the awards at the event held at Government House last Thursday.

They included Meredith Ebbin, for services in journalism, Janeiro Tucker, for services in sport, and Sean Tucker, for services in Broadcasting.

John Rankin, the Governor, along with Deputy Premier Walter Roban and Wayne Caines, the national security minister, attended the event.
