A 87-year-old man whose car crashed into a wall yesterday is recovering in hospital.

The St George’s man was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital by ambulance after his car crashed on Mullet Bay Road, near the junction with Stokes Point Road, St George’s, at about 1.40pm.

Motorists faced traffic delays until the damaged car was towed from the scene.

Investigations continue and witnesses are asked to contact the police at 295-0011.
