Do women have all the answers?
night's debate by junior members of the Bermuda Debating Society is sure to be a hot one.
Bermuda's top junior debaters will be discussing the topic as part of local celebrations to mark the 50th anniversary of women getting the vote.
It will also be a practice debate to prepare them for international debating competition later in the year.
Arguing in favour of the topic will be Miss Stacey Branum of Saltus Grammar School, Mr. Charles Souza of Mount Saint Agnes Academy and Miss Selena Mello of Saltus.
Arguing against the motion will be Miss Rachel Barritt of Saltus, Miss Sarah Carr of Bermuda High School and Mr. Edmund Robinson of Bermuda College.
Judging will be by a show of hands from the audience.
The public are invited to attend the event, which takes place in the Anglican Cathedral Hall, starting at 7.30 p.m.
Afterwards, prizes will be presented to the winners of the schools essay contest organised by the Committee for the 50th Anniversary of Women's Suffrage in Bermuda, which is chaired by Dr. Marjorie Bean of the Business and Professional Women's Association.
