Danté Leverock’s Sligo Rovers were held to a goalless draw at home to Waterford in the SSE Airtricity Premier Division last night. Leverock, the Bermuda captain, played the entire match, with the draw leaving Sligo in eighth position in the league table with 11 points from ten games.
The 27-year-old, who joined Sligo on a one-year deal from Estonian outfit Narva Trans last December, scored for Sligo in their 2-1 win over defending champions Dundalk last Friday.
Sligo are away to St Patrick’s Athletic on Friday.
