Forty thousand shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange, as the insurer’s share price remained at $3.75.

Rival insurer BF&M Ltd also traded, falling four cents, or 0.2 per cent, to close on $16.20 as 2,000 shares changed hands.

One Communications Ltd was the only other stock to trade, remaining unchanged on $2.90 as 1,300 shares were exchanged.

On the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares fell 41 cents, or 1.02 per cent, to close on $39.72.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 0.31 of a point to close on 2,459.99.

Share volume totalled 43,300 shares, while turnover was $186,170.

The BSX Insurance Index fell 14.38 points, or 0.94 per cent, to close on 1,517.89.
