Shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd fell 7.1 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.

The insurer slipped 25 cents to close on $3.25, a 52-week low, as 700 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank gained 25 cents, or 0.7 per cent, to close on $33.75, on the trading of 210 shares.

Butterfield’s US-listed shares fell 25 cents, or 0.7 per cent, to $34.17 on the New York Stock Exchange.

Ascendant Group was the most actively traded stock, closing unchanged on $16.75 as 9,235 shares changed hands.

One Communications also closed unchanged on $3, as 4,000 shares were traded.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index gained 6.25 points, or 0.3 per cent, to close on 2,080.14. Trading volume totalled 14,145 shares and turnover was $176,048.75.

The BSX Insurance Index dipped 24.42 points, or 1.58 per cent, to close on 1,519.32.
