A man who was struck by a car on Thursday afternoon is now stable in hospital.

The 62-year-old, who was hit by a car on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish, near Trinity Church Road, was previously in a serious condition.

A police spokesman said that this morning he was still in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit.
