Butterfield shares gain in New York

Bank boost: Butterfield shares rose for a third successive trading day on the BSX
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 1,834.79 as no shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The BSX Insurance Index rose 0.32 of a point to close on 1,398.97.
The US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank climbed 28 cents, or 1.16 per cent, to close on $24.37 on the New York Stock Exchange, as 116,042 shares changed hands. Butterfield last trade at $24.50 on the BSX.
