BF&M shares gain 2.9% on BSX

Bank boost: Butterfield shares rose for a third successive trading day on the BSX
Shares of BF&M Ltd gained 2.9 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.
The insurer’s share price climbed 50 cents to close on $18 as 600 shares changed hands.
BF&M was the only stock to trade as The Royal Gazette/BSX Index gained 3.83 points, or 0.21 per cent, to close on 1,839.21.
The US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank gained $1.04, or 4.45 per cent, to close at $24.41 on the New York Stock Exchange. Butterfield last traded on the BSX at $25.25.
The BSX Insurance Index climbed 21 points, or 1.52 per cent, to close on 1,405.94.
