Shares of Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd, the parent company of The Royal Gazette, fell by $2, or 25 per cent, to $6 after 500 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

BF&M Ltd shares improved by $1, or 6.1 per cent, to $17.50 after 885 changed hands.

Ascendant Group Ltd shares were up 50 cents, or 1.6 per cent, to $31 after 1,615 were exchanged.

There was also trading of 500 shares of One Communication Ltd, but with no change to the closing price of $3.80.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 15 cents, or 0.62 per cent, to $24.41.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 9.87 points, or 0.54 per cent, to 1,839.2, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 38.59, or 2.81 per cent, at 1,411.39.
