Driver hurt in crash
A 24-year-old man suffered minor injuries after three cars collided on North Shore Road yesterday.
All three vehicles were travelling in the same direction near Green Bay Road, Hamilton Parish, when two of them stopped and the third did not, at about 5.40pm.
The driver of one of the cars, from Devonshire, was treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and later discharged. No other injuries were reported.
Shortly afterwards, a car being driven by an 83-year-old Smith’s woman hit a wall on Harrington Sound Road, near Harrington Hundreds Road.
The woman and her 12-year-old daughter escaped injury in that incident, which happened at about 5.50pm.
Both crashes led to traffic delays. Witnesses should call police on 295-0011.
Meanwhile, an 88-year-old woman injured after a three-vehicle collision in Warwick on November 20 remained in a stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit today.
