Educational holiday: Saltus students visited a total of 15 universities and colleges in the UK

The annual Saltus university trip to the United Kingdom was led by secondary teacher and university adviser Mrs Tanja Walker along with Mr Tim Figureido, head of PE, and Mrs Fiona Murdoch, head art and SGY2 year co-ordinator.

The trip included 15 SGY1 students plus one student from Warwick Academy.

They were in the UK from February 7-15 and visited a total of 15 universities and colleges including: Oxford Brookes University, Nottingham, Nottingham Trent, Leeds University, Birmingham University, University of West England, Bristol, Reading, Southampton University, Solent, Kent University, Surrey, Roehampton, King’s College London and London School of Economics.

Students said that the trip was well worth it and was a lot of fun. One parent commented that her son could not stop talking about the trip and returned home with lots of valuable information on several universities.
