Youth soccer will grab the spotlight on Saturday -- with the National Stadium being the venue -- when finals in five divisions are held starting at 1 p.m.

Action kicks off with the `Lower Eight' Mini-Minor final between West winners Devonshire Colts Whites and PHC Kids, who won the East.

At 2.30, the `Upper Eight' final will take place between PHC Blacks and St.

David's.

The Mini-Minor `A' Knockout final is scheduled for 4.00 with North Village Reds taking on Somerset Reds, to be followed at 5.00 with the Minor Knockout final between Somerset and PHC.

The final match at 7.00 sees PHC meeting Wolves in the Bantam final. PHC beat Devonshire Colts 2-1 and Wolves stopped North Village 4-2 in the semifinals.

The Commercial League Cup `A' and `B' Division finals, which were scheduled for tonight, have been moved to Monday at the same venue, BAA field.

North Village Rams meet Fire Service in the `B' final at 7.00 with Forties playing Island Rangers in the `A' final at 9.00.

An Alliance Division make-up match between Somerset and PHC, which was postponed on March 5, will now be played this Saturday at Somerset CC.

Two women's make-up matches are scheduled for Devonshire Rec. tomorrow night.

The 7.00 opener sees Somerset Terminators playing BAA and Dandy Stars meeting Rude Girls in the 9.00 contest.

SNOOKER SNO Stephen Roberts, Greg Falzone, Brian Haxton and Steve Bremar have advanced to the semifinals in this year's Four Star Pizza Open.

Bremar upset defending champion and top seed Steve Dunleavy 2-0 at Warwick Workmen's Club. Second-seeded Roberts won two one-sided games against Zane DeSilva to move forward.

Seventh seed Falzone was a 2-0 winner over Bill Wotton and sixth seed Brian Haxton took two straight from Dennis Coyle.

The semifinal matches will be played on March 29 with Falzone facing Bremar and Roberts playing Haxton.

In last week's league games, leaders National Sports Club maintained their edge with a 4-1 win over Queens II. Old Colony Club I kept pace and remain only three points behind Nationals as they beat Warwick WC 4-1.

Sandys Sports Club II beat their first team 4-1 with wins from Roger Henderson, Tony DeSilva, Falzone and Timmy Simons. Zane DeSilva edged Lawrence DeSilva for Sandys II's sole point.

Sandys Boat Club narrowly got by Spanish Point 3-2 and St. George's beat Old Colony Club II 3-2.

CRICKET CRI Western Stars will hold a meeting at the club today (7 p.m.) for anyone interested in representing them.

There will be a meeting of Devonshire Recreation Club's Barbados tour group on Friday at 7 p.m.
