Universal Children’s Day was celebrated yesterday by Family Centre with a fundraiser at its premises on King Street.
The charity also thanked its donors in a gathering at Sunshine League House.
Children’s Day was created by the United Nations in 1954.
Family Centre also marked the event with a campaign through local radio stations, which broadcast interviews and fundraiser updates throughout the day.
