A 51-year-old woman has died after being found at a Warwick home in an “unresponsive state”.

A police spokesman said emergency services were dispatched to a Banana Lane residence for a medical emergency at avout 10am yesterday morning.

The spokesman said: “She was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance but later pronounced dead.

“No further information regarding the deceased will be provided at this time, until her next of kin has been notified.”

The spokesman added that the circumstances of the sudden death were being investigated.
