Shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd improved by 40 cents, or 11.5 per cent, to $3.87 after 1,000 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

HSBC Holdings was also up by 30 cents, or 3.72 per cent, at $8.35 after 1,200 shares were exchanged.

There was trading in 5,700 shares of Ascendant Group Limited, but with no change to the closing price of $17.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up $1.31, or 2.26 per cent, at $40.29.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up eight points, or 0.35 per cent, at 2,287.65, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 4.91 points, or 0.33 per cent, at 1,492.65.
