Plumbing problems have forced the closure of a preschool tomorrow.

A spokeswoman for the Department of Education said that Devonshire’s Prospect Preschool was forced to close today because of a water shortage.

She said: “Following an assessment this afternoon by the Department’s facilities team the decision was made to close the school tomorrow.”

Parents were advised to make alternative arrangements for their children.

The spokeswoman apologised for the closure and said that an update would be provided tomorrow.
