Bermuda slip down leaderboard
Playing on the O’Mera course at Carton House Golf Club, the Bermuda trio of Jarryd Dillas, Walker Campbell and Mikus Ming could not match their opening round of 144 on the Montgomerie course when they shot a second round of 155.
Dillas fired three-over par 75 and Ming an 80 for total of 299, with each team’s best two scores counting. Campbell carded an 81.
Dillas has a two-round scored of 147 while Campbell is on 153 and Ming 157.
Bermuda are tied with Brazil, Turkey and Uruguay while Croatia are a further stroke back on 300 with two rounds to play.
There are 72 countries competing in the tournament for the Eisenhower Trophy, with New Zealand the new leaders with a two-round score of 270 after a round of 131.
Denmark, the overnight leaders, are tied with Thailand and Ireland on 271.
