A 31-year-old woman was fined $1,500 today after she admitted a Mother’s Day party attack on another woman.

Magistrates’ Court heard that Diante Trimm got into an scuffle with one of the complainant’s friends as the event.

The fight was broken up and Trimm, from Pembroke, was escorted outside.

But she came back into the building, charged at the victim and hit her on the face.

The two ended up on the floor, where Trimm scratched the victim’s chest, bit her knee and finger, and pulled her hair.

Trimm pleaded guilty to unlawful assault causing bodily harm.

The victim suffered bruises and a bite mark as a result.

The incident happened at the cricket pavilion at the National Stadium as the party ended at about 3am on May 14.

The incident was captured on CCTV.

Trimm was arrested on May 19.

She told police: “The little punk b****** jumped me and I’m being arrested for assault.”
