Former Warwick Academy student’s band releases first song

A former Bermuda resident and Warwick Academy student has begun a new band and just released his first song with them.Paul Lennox, now a resident of the United Kingdom, released a single titled ‘Our World’ with his recently-formed band Ally. Lennox describes the song as “a positive commentary on the Olympics and what it means for mankind.”He and Alexander Koronka, the other member of Ally, wrote and produced the song.Now a professional drummer who performs around the world with a Queen tribute band, Lennox lived in Bermuda for 12 years.He performed in the Warwick Academy orchestra and concert band as well as the Bermuda Youth Jazz Ensemble while growing up here.Encouraged by his father Robert Lennox, a former Warwick Academy headmaster, Paul Lennox went on to obtain his Bachelor of Arts in professional musicianship from the Brighton Institute of Modern Music in England.The song and accompanying music video can be found at musicisyourally.com.
