Shares of One Communications Ltd fell 5 cents in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading yesterday.

The telecommunications group dipped 1.7 per cent to close on $2.90 as 4,469 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank and Ascendant Group each saw trading activity. Ascendant remained on $16.25 as 3,040 shares traded, while Butterfield stayed on $46.50 as 1,319 of its shares were exchanged.

Butterfield’s US-listed shares fell 66 cents, or 1.4 per cent, to close on $47.15 in New York.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 0.69 of a point to close on 2,679.66. Trading volume was 8,828 shares and turnover was $123,684.60.

The BSX Insurance Index gained 11.15 points, or 0.6 per cent, to close on 1,850.46.
