The LF Wade International Airport suffered a partial power cut this afternoon — but the problem has not caused flight delays.

A Belco spokeswoman said the outage began at 1.10pm when the power system connected to the airport’s north terminal was tripped.

She said crews were sent to the airport and were able to reroute the feed.

Power was restored by 2.15pm.

The cause of the fault is still being investigated.
