Hamilton Insurance Group has appointed Brenton Slade to a new capital management unit.

The unit, called Hamilton Capital Partners, is tasked with further developing Hamilton’s capital management capabilities. Mr Slade will take up his position as senior vice-president on June 19, and will report to Jonathan Reiss, Hamilton Insurance Group’s chief financial officer.

Mr Slade was previously chief operating officer with The Horseshoe Group, and before that was chief marketing and capital markets officer for Flagstone Reinsurance.
