Celebrity chef, Marcus Samuelsson is visiting Hamilton Princess & Beach Club this week to launch new menu items, host a cooking demonstration and highlight local food producers and fishermen.

Marcus opens the weekend of activities with a cooking demonstration at the Beach Club on Friday, June 1 for those who are looking for an opportunity to get some tips from a professional. Guests will enjoy a welcome drink before watching Marcus prepare some of his favourite dishes, sharing tips and interesting anecdotes. Following this, guests will get to enjoy a full dinner on the beach. Tickets for the event are $85 each, plus gratuities, and include drinks and dinner and can be purchased on www.PTIX.bm. On Saturday, June 2, Marcus will lead a field trip across the island in one of Hamilton Princess & Beach Club’s signature jitneys, showcasing local farmers, producers and fishermen who provide the resort with their ingredients. Marcus will lead a tour to Wadson’s Farm, Pops and Sons Honey as well as fisherman Steve Cabral. Foodies will be treated to lunch at the Princess Beach Club on the tour and then will get to experience the true farm to table experience that night at the hotel on the Regency Terrace, complete with live entertainment. Tickets cost $250 per person, plus gratuities, and includes both meals as well as the tour. The field trip leaves the hotel at 11am, returning at 4pm. The farm to table dinner takes place at 6:30pm.

Marcus will host a brunch at his restaurant on Sunday, June 3 and will launch some new menu items such as The Ribs Are Touchin’ — Beef Side Ribs with a Soy Glaze, Cashews and Kimchi Christophene — and a new Butterfly Pea Flower Tea cocktail.
