People are being invited to sign up as patrons for the Impact Mentoring Academy.

The school needs cash to help keep tuition as low as possible for parents, and grow and develop programmes including its science department.

It operates at the Berkeley Cultural Centre, with a population of nearly 40 middle and high school students.

People can become an Impact Patron for an annual pledge of $100, or an Impact Partner as a local company for an annual pledge of $250 to $1,000.

Sponsors will be listed on IMA’s patron list on its campaign website, and receive a free ticket to the school’s Spoken Word Night.

Partners of $1,000 or more will also have their logo used on the school’s website and social media.

Executive director Chris Crumpler said: “In light of many recent events, we recognise that our programme is more necessary than ever.

“Through your contributions you will be helping us ease some of the financial burden of our current and future parents, while allowing us to grow our programmes, to be able to expand further into the community.

“We believe we are the best choice for boys’ education in Bermuda and have the programme and data to back it up. Come see for yourself.”
