Bermuda e-security provider QuoVadis has become a Microsoft Certified Partner (MCP).

ACE Global Reinsurance has opened an ACE Tempest Reinsurance (ACE Tempest Re) underwriting operation in Dublin, Ireland.
The new unit is a division of ACE European Markets Reinsurance Limited (AEMR). AEMR commenced operations in Dublin in 1997 and is capitalised at $100 million.
Tony Spice has been appointed chief underwriting officer, responsible for developing ACE Tempest Re's property and casualty treaty business in continental Europe.
l Swiss Re will host a Media Conference on Alternative Risk Transfer: “ART Solutions in a Time of Capacity Shortage” on Thursday.
The event, which also focuses on the new capacity in Bermuda and the non-life insurance market in a time of capacity shortage, will be held from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. at the Park Avenue Plaza, located at 55 East 52nd Street, on the 44th floor.
