A woman injured in a car crash yesterday has been discharged from the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The 30-year-old woman, from Smith’s, was taken to hospital after her vehicle went over an embankment on Orange Valley Road, Devonshire, about 3pm.

A police spokesman added that the motorcyclist involved in another collision yesterday had also been discharged from hospital.

The 55-year-old Southampton man was injured when his bike collided with a car at the junction of Middle Road and Lighthouse Road in Southampton at about 8.40am.

Police have appealed for witnesses to both incidents.
