The Garden Club of Bermuda is staging a competition to find Bermuda's best garden, with entry forms available at all gardening supplies stores and plant nurseries. Completed forms must be returned to the Garden Club by the end of March. There is only one entry requirement, however, it must be visible from a public or estate road.

All gardens must be well tended gardens having a pleasing visual effect, which may be achieved by the use of either foliage or flowers of a combination of both. Wonderful results can be achieved by the use of different shades, colours and heights of foliage.

The judging will take place during the first week in May, so there is still time for added touches. All gardens reaching, the Gold, Silver and Bronze Standard of Excellence will be awarded with certificates recording this and in addition gift certificates from Aberfeldy Plant Nursery, Gorham's or Masters for varying amounts.

The Garden Club of Bermuda will also present a cup for the Best Garden overall.
