Film body calls for Bermuda shorts
Bermuda International Film Festival organisers today called on island film-makers to submit short films.
The top 20 submissions will be picked and shown as part of BerMovie Day, which will open the 2018 festival.
The films will be shown at the Earl Cameron Theatre at Hamilton’s City Hall next March.
BIFF 2018 artistic director Nicky Gurret said: “The Bermuda International Film Festival 2018 is inviting Bermudian and Bermuda residents of 6 months or more to submit their short film which should be less than 40 minutes.”
Film-makers must be over 16 and submissions should include the director’s name and a film synopsis.
Films can be e-mailed to programming@biff.bm or dropped off at 15 Front Street, Hamilton, HM11, by 5pm on January 1.
An opening party is planned for March 17 and the festival will run until March 25.
