One of Bermuda's oldest and most well-known family-owned guest apartments, Rosemont, is up for sale.

The General Manager and Director of The Reefs Resort in Southampton, Neal Stephens has made an offer to purchase the guest property located in a quiet residential garden setting in Pembroke.

Mr. Stephens said yesterday he could not divulge too much but to confirm that he had made an offer.

He added that should the deal be consummated, he would be leaving The Reefs ? one of the most successful resorts on the Island and winner of various prestigious titles over the past year.

Mr. Stephens said he would hopefully be able to make a further statement in December.

This family-owned apartment complex has been in the Coopers' family for many years. Owned by Cyril (Hooks) and Barbara Cooper and run by their daughters, Karen and Lorri.
