Motorists were today advised to avoid the junction of Middle Road and Valley Road in Paget this weekend.

Belco crews will carry out excavation and trenching work from Saturday to Monday as part of essential maintenance.

The utility company said: “Belco does not anticipate any major disruption to traffic along Middle Road, however, motorists are advised to approach with caution while work is ongoing and, with the exception of critical/residential access to Valley Road, to use alternative routes.

“Belco thanks motorists for their patience and apologises for any inconvenience while this essential work is carried out.
