A 20-year-old Warwick man accused of blackmailing another man for $3,000 has been remanded in custody.

Asina Harvey was also charged with sending a text message to his alleged victim threatening to kill him and having an offensive weapon. All offences were said to have happened in Southampton on Friday.

Mr Harvey was not required to enter pleas in Magistrates’ Court because the charges must he heard in Supreme Court. The case was adjourned to the November arraignments session.
