Individuals from all sections of the community are in line for a potential windfall from the $205 million bid by Cable & Wireless to acquire KeyTech.

The share registry of KeyTech reveals that individuals and local companies could substantially benefit from the proposal for each of the 12 million KeyTech shares valued at $17.

Last week KeyTech offered a 1 for 10 share dividend. The share registry was reviewed by The Royal Gazette before the share dividend was offered and it is likely that all of these holdings would have increased by 10 percent because of the 1 for 10 share dividend that took effect from Monday. Argus Group Holdings through its ownership of the Bermuda Life Insurance Company has a considerably large holding in KeyTech which could play a critical role in deciding the outcome of a shareholders vote to accept an offer from Cable & Wireless.
